Synopsis: Shabbana is a young girl who wants to get an education. Her mother supports her but her father dreams of her marrying. Cousin Rehan comes for a visit from Pakistan. Is he the chosen one? Shabbana’s father is happy to have one more member of the family in Norway. But what are Shabbana’s wishes?
The play is set in one of Oslo’s suburbs and is accentuated by song and dance scenes in typical Te-nord style.
